NO ONE BE OFFENDED!!! PLEASE...THIS IS TONGUE IN CHEEK!

I hear a lot of fanboys describe Street Fighter as this brilliant, multicultural world of JOY where all cultures get along and are represented.

I get what they're saying...but really. It's about a bunch of people from all over the world beating each other up.

If Street Fighter had Canadian characters, they would be a lumberjack or a hockey player, and they would share beer and Tim Hortons with their opponent...and they'd be so broken they would have to be disqualified.

IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE: (for you non-SF readers)

Mike Haggar [link] - You may know him from Final Fight or Marvel vs Capcom 3. He's hasn't officially been in an SF game but he's sort of lumped in the universe. When I drew this, it had about 12 layers in Corel Painter....HAGGER HAD A WHOLE LAYER TO HIMSELF. THAT IS HOW BADASS HAGGAR IS.

Blanka [link] -He somehow represents Brazil.

Adon [link] - This is not a jab at the furry fandom or Adon fans. The guy runs around in a full jaguar costume in one of his cutscenes and every other word out of his mouth is jaguar.

Cody [link] - EPIC. He throws rocks and breaks out of prison when he gets bored. Comes from the same universe as Haggar, so he's got to be awesome. He'll show up again, don't worry.

Alex [link] - Appeared in SFIII in which they tried to make him the protagonist instead of Ryu and it didn't work. Was in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. I drew him in last minute which is why he looks sketchy. Originally I had DeeJay (a Jamaican character) in there...but looking at it somehow I didn't think it was entirely appropriate to have Cody throwing rocks at an African American character while Ibuki commented on racism...yeah...

I don't think Capcom has gone that far out yet. But Hakkan was certainly a fresh face, despite having one of the oddest fighting styles.
